Teen Dies From Injuries Substaned After Being Ran Over Sunbathing In Driveway

Syracuse,Utah,teen girl dies from being ran over,while sunbathing in her own driveway.Supposedly she was accidentally ran over by a pickup truck,while she was lying out in the sun in her driveway.

Marli Hamblin,15,died from severe head injuries in a Utah hospital Sunday,two days after being ran over at her home in Syracuse,25 miles outside of Salt Lake City.

Apparently she was listening to her Ipod,and couldn't hear,the truck backing out of the garage.The truck at the time was being driven by Marli's elder sister,who told investigators she didn't notice her younger sibling behind her when she was backing out.

"She's having a very difficult time,beating herself up.All we can do is encourage her,you know.It's just an accident,it can happen t o anybody at any given time," the sister's grandfather,Ron Hamblin,told FOX 13.

Police,say no charges will be filed in the case.

This has to be a horrible feeling for the older sister.To lose a younger sibling,and to be the one to take her away.Accident's are bound to happen,but now she has to live with that burden the rest of her life.I hope the family can recover from this tragedy.
