John Crawford Shot and Killed At Ohio Walmart By Police

An attorney for the family of John Crawford III, the man fatally shot by police in an Ohio Walmart store, says surveillance video contradicts the police department's version of events. Officers say Crawford refused to drop the pellet gun he was holding, but the video allegedly shows them gunning him down "on sight".

A customer in the store, said they seen Crawford with an AR-15 and called police. You apparently know what an AR-15 is and looks like, yet can't seem to know the difference between an AR-15 and a pellet gun.I find that hard to comprehend.Or is this just a case of another black man, being dangerous because he's in possession of a "gun",whether it be a pellet gun or an actual gun.Another customer, who is a ex "Marine" claims he saw a man walking around a store with a gun,and pointing at two children. He also claimed the gun was a black rifle, and said "he's loading it right now." Later in the call, he wasn't so sure, saying, "He looked like he was trying to load it, I don't know."

A United States Marine, can't tell the difference between a REAL RIFLE and PELLET GUN(That children/teens play with) ? Hard to understand how this can happen.Ohio is suppose to be an OPEN CARRY STATE,apparently that doesn't apply to people who are black.Where are the NRA and tea party people, who support the 2nd amendment? No uproar of this story by them? Those rights don't apply to people of color right?

I suppose you have to be WHITE to carry a firearm around a Walmart without being shot and killed.

Mother and Children Mistaken as 4 Men in Traffic Stop

Police officers in Forney,Texas "accidentally" confuse a mother in a RED NISSAN and her four children,as four black males in a tan or beige Toyota during a traffic stop.Officers we're searching for the tan/beige Toyota after reports of that one the passengers was waving a gun out the window.

Kametra Barbour, mother of four was ordered out of the car, handcuffed and placed in a police cruiser, while another officer ordered a passenger out. That passenger happen to be her six year old son.A terrifying experience for her and her children to say they least.Apparently it's easy to confuse a RED NISSAN for a Tan Toyota.I don't know about anyone else, but those two colors are far from close,no matter if it was dark or light out. With lights shining on the car,the officers should have be able to realize that car didn't fit their description.

You'd think, they would noticed they had the wrong car, when they seen that it was red,and not the make given by dispatchers,or after they notice a woman was driving, and maybe after the front passenger was a small boy and not a grown man.But it took a vehicle inspection to realize,"hey this might be the wrong car". Now a woman and her children are left scared from the encounter, and the real suspects are still on the loose. The police, still haven't made or given an apology since the incident happened.

Video of the traffic stop and story in the Link-Texas Cops mistakenly pull over woman and four children.

Teen Dies From Injuries Substaned After Being Ran Over Sunbathing In Driveway

Syracuse,Utah, teen girl dies from being ran over, while sunbathing in her own driveway.Supposedly she was accidentally ran over by a pickup truck, while she was lying out in the sun in her driveway.

Marli Hamblin,15,died from severe head injuries in a Utah hospital Sunday, two days after being ran over at her home in Syracuse,25 miles outside of Salt Lake City.

Apparently she was listening to her Ipod, and couldn't hear, the truck backing out of the garage. The truck at the time was being driven by Marli's elder sister, who told investigators she didn't notice her younger sibling behind her when she was backing out.

"She's having a very difficult time, beating herself up.All we can do is encourage her,you know. It's just an accident,it can happen t o anybody at any given time," the sister's grandfather,Ron Hamblin, told FOX 13.

Police, say no charges will be filed in the case.

This has to be a horrible feeling for the older sister. To lose a younger sibling, and to be the one to take her away.Accident's are bound to happen, but now she has to live with that burden the rest of her life.I hope the family can recover from this tragedy.

Thoughts on Texas Man Facing Life in Prison for making pot brownies.

Texas,19 year old Jacob Lavoro is facing life in prison for being in possession of a pound of drugs and a jar of hash oil.The pound of drugs being a pound of pot laced brownies.Even though only roughly 2.5 grams of THC actually in the brownies, the charge still stands.

First off,I think the charges are a little absurd given the circumstances.Yes,the suspect in question did do a crime, and was in possession of an illegal substance. You have the "best" justice system in the world, trying to put some behind bars for something as small as some "hash" brownies, and they let murderers, child abusers, etc. pretty much walk free. How can something like this be justified?

Crazy to think, the America Justice System is suppose to be highly regarded.Mr. Lavoro does need to be punished for his crime, but someone's over punishing this young man.I can understand, the court's stance on drugs, but they can't give someone life in prison due to your view on the crime.Hopefully a lesser sentenced is given,so he can make up for his mistakes.

How does everyone else feel about this? I would enjoy to hear everyone's thoughts on this story.

"Words cannot express our sorrow for the loss of our brother, when we lose one of our own,it feels as if we've lost a beloved member of our family",said Chief Patrol Agent Kevin Oaks."I wish to express to his family and friends my deepest condolences.May the peace that comes from the time you shared together, comfort you now and in this difficult days ahead."Prior to joining the Border Patrol,Agent Vega served his country as a Marine. His service in the Marine Corps and in the Border Patrol is a true testament to the type of man he was.His character, work ethic and desire to help others are commendable. His death is not only a loss for RGV Sector and the US Border Agency, but for our entire community."

"The Kingsville Station is at a loss," said Kingsville Station Acting Patrol Agent in Charge Arnold Perez."Not only did Javier strive to be the best agent and K-9 handler, but he also made it a point to develop and truly care about his friendships."

My thoughts go out to Mr Vega's family.

Renisha McBride's killer found guilty.

Theodore Wafer was found guilty of second-degree murder and manslaughter in the death of Renisha McBride Thursday Aug.7th by a Detroit jury.Wafer was on trial in Detroit's Wayne County Circuit Court for the fatal shooting of 19 year-old McBride on his porch in November 2013.

Renisha Mcbride
She appeared at his house in Dearborn Heights, around 4:30 am Nov.2nd.She had crashed her car nearby earlier that night. No one knows her whereabouts in the several hours between the accident and the time of her death. She was intoxicated during her crash. She knocked on his front door seeking help,he came to the door with a loaded shotgun and shot her in the face through a locked screened door.

One of the first images the jury saw during the trial, was of McBride lying lifeless on Wafer's front porch. He pleaded not guilty and his attorney sought to show that the shooting was in self defense.
According the the defense,Wafer woke up to the sound of banging on his door, and side door and fear multiple people were braking in.

"In the depth of his being,he's never been that scared in his life",defense attorney Cheryl Carpenter said. She cast doubt on the thoroughness of the crime scene investigation and questioned why officials didn't examine what may have been a foot print on top of an air conditioner in his backyard.

The prosecution painted a different picture, that of a man who "wanted confrontation" and a woman in need of help ended of dead for it.Wafer had other options they argued, and pulling the trigger that night was "negligent" and "reckless". They wondered why Wafer wouldn't call 911 if he was so scared;Wafer said he tried looking for his cell phone but couldn't find it.

He shot McBride through his locked screen door, which was partially removed when police arrived at the scene. He testified during the trial, that he shot her to defend himself. But when he first spoke to police on the night of the shooting,he stated the shooting was an accident."I wasn't going to cower in my house,I didn't want to be a victim",he said during testimony. He also showed remorse over her death.

He now faces a maximum sentence of life in prison for the second-degree murder charge. The manslaughter charge carries a 15-year maximum. There is also a mandatory two-year penalty for being in a possession of a firearm while committing a felony. He is scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 21st

"We are obviously very pleased with the jury's verdict and feel that justice was served today,Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy said in a in a statement."We sincerely hope that this brings some comfort to the family of Renisha McBride."
